Durch ihren rechteckigen Querschnitt wird eine nat\u00fcrliche W\u00e4rmeableitung durch Vergr\u00f6\u00dferung der Oberfl\u00e4che erreicht, was sich besonders f\u00fcr Hochstromanwendungen mit mehr als 4000 A eignet. Es wird empfohlen, im Prim\u00e4rkreis (bei einer Strombelastbarkeit von &gt; 4000 A) vorrangig blanke Kupferschienen mit gro\u00dfem Querschnitt einzusetzen, w\u00e4hrend isolierte Kupferschienen zum Aufbau eines doppelten Schutzsystems an beengten Stellen, in Anlagen f\u00fcr neue Energien und in anderen Anwendungsf\u00e4llen verwendet werden.
