Cet article analyse la conductivit\u00e9, le niveau de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, les sc\u00e9narios d\u2019application et cinq autres dimensions des barres omnibus en cuivre isol\u00e9es et non isol\u00e9es, et combine les normes IEEE et les cas pratiques d\u2019entreprises nationales de premier plan pour mettre en \u00e9vidence les diff\u00e9rences de positionnement fonctionnel entre les deux dans le r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique. Il est recommand\u00e9 de privil\u00e9gier l\u2019utilisation de barres omnibus en cuivre nu de grande section dans le circuit primaire (sc\u00e9nario o\u00f9 la capacit\u00e9 de transport de courant est sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 4 000 A), tandis que les barres omnibus en cuivre isol\u00e9es sont utilis\u00e9es pour mettre en place un syst\u00e8me de double protection dans les lieux tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quent\u00e9s, les installations d\u00e9di\u00e9es aux \u00e9nergies nouvelles et d\u2019autres sc\u00e9narios.
