Het wordt aanbevolen om in het primaire circuit (bij een stroomvoerend vermogen van meer dan 4000 A) bij voorkeur onbeklede koperen stroomrails met een grote doorsnede te gebruiken, terwijl ge\u00efsoleerde koperen stroomrails worden ingezet om een dubbel beveiligingssysteem op te zetten op drukbezochte locaties, in nieuwe energie-installaties en in andere scenario\u2019s.
