How does an aluminum heat sink work?

The working principle of aluminum heat sink is based on the excellent thermal conductivity of aluminum alloys. When the heat sink comes into contact with a heating element (such as a CPU chip or electronic component), heat is quickly conducted from the contact surface to the heat dissipation fins through the aluminum alloy and then dissipated through the fins’ extensive contact with air.
